2025 Chengdu Auto Show Preview: Wuling Starlight 730 Makes
Its Debut at the Show On the eve of the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, Autohome's on-site exploration team captured images of the Wuling Starlight 730. This vehicle is developed based on Wuling's new electric vehicle architecture and fully adopts the "Heaven·Spirit·God" series of technologies, offering fuel, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric powertrains. It will make its debut at the Chengdu Auto Show.

In terms of appearance, the fuel and plug-in hybrid versions of the new car feature a "big mouth" grille design, while the pure electric model retains only the lower grille, with a fully blackened grille. The LED daytime running lights on both sides are in a double-bar horizontal shape, and the front bumper has air ducts on both sides, enhancing its recognition. The vehicle measures 4,910mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 1,770mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,910mm. The side of the car features sliding doors, with the sliding rails hidden below the window line. The rear lights of the vehicle echo the design of the headlights.
Inside, the new car is equipped with a floating central control screen, with physical buttons retained below. It also comes with a wireless charging panel for mobile phones, giving it a high-quality look overall. The interior adopts a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout, and the second-row seats can be adjusted at a large angle.


In terms of power, the fuel version is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 130kW. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a combination of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, with the engine having a maximum power of 78kW. The pure electric version has a maximum power of 100kW for the motor. The battery is equipped with a 54.5/60kWh battery pack, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 450/500km.
