This period will witness the launch, pre-sale, or debut of several significant new models, including the new AITO S7 and R7, the all-electric AITO M8, the Shangjie H5, the new Honda Elysion, the new Buick GL8 Landed PHEV, the all-new XPeng P7, the new Tank 500, the Volvo XC70, the new AION V Plus, and the new岚图Zhiyin. Additionally, the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show will officially open on August 29. This article only covers the new car launches, debuts, and pre-sales before the auto show. The all-electric AITO M8 is positioned as a large SUV with a pre-sale price starting from 378,000 yuan. It adopts the Kunpeng design language, and the front grille of the all-electric model has a new style. The roof is equipped with a 192-line LiDAR, and the vehicle also offers a large front trunk. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 5,190/1,999/1,795 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm, the same as the extended-range version. It is available in 5-seat and 6-seat configurations. The rear of the vehicle features a new ISD smart interactive taillight design that can achieve a super close-range welcome projection effect. The door can be automatically opened through gesture control. The all-electric AITO M8 adds a new interior color, truffle brown, and the interior remains the same as the extended-range version.



In terms of power, the vehicle offers single-motor and dual-motor versions. The former has a maximum power of 227 kilowatts, while the latter has front and rear motors with 160 kilowatts and 227 kilowatts, respectively. The new car is the first to be equipped with Huawei's high-voltage seven-in-one electric drive, with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options. All models are equipped with a 100 kWh battery from CATL, offering a CLTC combined range of 705 km. The all-electric AITO M8 will be among the first models to be equipped with Huawei's Dry Kun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 and will provide active safety, intelligent driving assistance, and intelligent parking assistance.




The all-new XPeng P7, as a successor model, adopts a new minimalist design language, inheriting the unique X design element of the XPeng family, presenting a more low-slung sporty attribute. The new car will be equipped with 3 XPeng Turing chips and 1 Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, featuring an 8.8-inch instrument panel + 15.6-inch three-axis dynamic central control screen + 87-inch AR-HUD. In terms of power, the all-new XPeng P7 is built on the all-domain 800V platform architecture, offering rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models, with a maximum range of 820 kilometers.




The Shangjie H5 is positioned as a mid-sized SUV. The new car's exterior adopts the Hongmeng Zhixing family design language, with chrome trim added to the rear bumper, paired with a贯穿式 taillight group, presenting a good visual layering effect. In terms of dimensions, it measures 4,780/1,910/1,657 (1,664) mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. The interior of the vehicle adopts an upper dark and lower light color scheme, featuring a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, a floating central control screen, and a full LCD instrument panel. At the same time, there should be a HUAWEI MagLink interface behind the front seats, allowing the rear devices to be expanded through a magnetic bracket. Based on the Hongmeng cockpit, it can also achieve multi-screen interactive linkage. In terms of power, the vehicle offers both extended-range and all-electric versions for users to choose from. The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5L range extender with a maximum power of 72 kilowatts, and its CLTC combined range exceeds 1,300 km. The all-electric version provides drive motors with maximum powers of 150 kilowatts and 180 kilowatts depending on the configuration, with a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 655 km.
