Wuling Starlight 730 Opens for Pre-Order: Three Powertrain Options Including Fuel, Hybrid, and Electric; All-New Design Style for 7-Seat MPV
On September 23, the Wuling Starlight 730 officially opened for pre-order. From now until the official launch, customers can place their orders through official channels such as the Wuling Auto App, mini-program, and Douyin. By paying a deposit of 1,000 yuan online, customers can enjoy a deduction of 2,000 yuan off the purchase price. Meanwhile, the first batch of new vehicles has already arrived in 220 cities across the country. The Starlight 730 is a mid-size MPV that offers three powertrain options: fuel, hybrid, and electric.
In terms of appearance, the Wuling Starlight 730 features an all-new front fascia design. The rectangular headlights are equipped with dual-layer daytime running lights, providing strong recognizability. The new large-sized black mesh grille also represents the all-new design style. In terms of body dimensions, the new vehicle measures 4,910 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,770 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,910 mm. The vehicle side is equipped with electric sliding doors. At the rear, the overall design is relatively simple, with flat tail light design that echoes the front design. The new vehicle will be available in four colors: Smoky Gray, Silver Frost White, Jet Black, and Dusk Purple.
Inside the cabin, the Starlight 730 adopts a simple cockpit style design, offering a floating instrument screen and a 12.8-inch floating central control screen. It supports car machine interconnection and offers various scenario modes such as nap, camping, and power-on when leaving the vehicle to meet different needs. The interior features a dual-color theme of Walnut Brown and Warm Sand Brown.
The entire vehicle adopts a “2+2+3” 7-seat layout. All seats in the vehicle support different adjustment modes. The front seats can be reclined at a large angle of 180°, allowing passengers to “lie flat” on the spot during rest. The second-row seats are equipped with dual-side armrests and are multi-angle adjustable. The third-row seats support 4/6 split folding, with a maximum reclining angle of up to 127°. A total of four ISOFIX child seat interfaces are reserved in the second and third rows. There are 25 humanized storage spaces throughout the vehicle. The third-row seats also cleverly adopt a magic folding design, which can transform the trunk volume from 315L to 1,202L through seatback folding and cushion secondary folding.
In terms of power, the Starlight 730 offers three powertrain options: fuel, hybrid, and electric. The fuel version is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 130 kW, matched with a 6-speed manual and CVT transmission. The plug-in hybrid version will feature a combination of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, with the engine having a maximum power of 78 kW and a comprehensive range of 1,100 km with full fuel and electricity. The electric version has a maximum motor power of 100 kW and a range of 500 km for the pure electric model.
