At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, several new models from the HarmonyOS brand made their debut, including the AITO M8, AITO M9, AITO M7, and AITO M5.
AITO M8 will be equipped with the intelligent chassis system of Huawei Tuling, featuring extended-range power and a maximum combined range of 1,526 kilometers. The number of large orders for the new car exceeded 44,000 within just 72 hours of its launch. The new car adopts the brand-new Kunpeng Leap design language and the Tianjing Huanyu integrated headlights, and is equipped with Huawei's Smart Car Language system to achieve a welcoming projection effect. The Askui M8 adopts a brand-new ISD smart interactive taillight design. The new smart light language starts from the definition of life, accommodating more life scenarios and bringing new themes such as city Windows. The vehicle will also be equipped with a foot-sensing tailgate.
The vehicle will be available in two layouts: three rows of six seats and two rows of five seats, along with four interior color options to choose from. The interior of the entire vehicle is covered with NAPPA leather, super-fine suede roof, wood grain trim panels at the center console and door handles, and adopts the 3D-mesh wrapping process. The six-seater version of the new car comes standard with zero-gravity seats on the right rear, while the five-seater version is equipped with quasi-zero-gravity seats on the right rear. The driver's seat is equipped with an extended leg rest as standard, and the front passenger seat offers a ballet folding dual-enjoyment seat, further enhancing the ride comfort.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T range extender system. The maximum power of the range extender is 118kW (160 horsepower), and the peak power of the front and rear dual motors is 165kW at the front and 227kW at the rear respectively. The vehicle will be equipped with a 37kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack and a 53.4kWh ternary lithium battery pack. The CLTC pure electric range is 201km/310km, and the combined range is 1,405 km/ 1,526 km.
In addition, the AITO M8 is also built on the intelligent chassis system of the HUAWEI Turing platform, supporting road surface perception HUAWEI ADS, intelligent vehicle status perception iVSE, dynamic adaptive torque control HUAWEI DATS, and intelligent body collaborative control HUAWEI XMOTION, integrating the sensor information of the auxiliary system. Supports full-scenario intelligent road preview, allowing for early prediction of the road conditions ahead. Combined with the adaptive active suspension to adjust its firmness, it provides greater comfort when passing through bumpy sections and enhances handling when driving on good roads.
The 2025 model of the Askui M9 is available in 7 configuration models, with prices ranging from 469,800 to 569,800 yuan. The new model has increased the number of lidars to four, adding side and rear short-throw Lidars. The vehicle will be available in 5-seat and 6-seat versions. Additionally, a new color option, Golden Red, will be added. It will also be equipped with smart privacy Windows and other features. The power of the range extender of the extended-range version model has been increased, with the maximum power rising from 110kW to 118kW. It is worth mentioning that the entire series will be upgraded to Huawei ADS 4 in the third quarter of this year.
The new model of Askui M7 has been launched with new exterior color options such as Muye Green, interior color options like Truffle Brown, and brand-new 20-inch ten-spoke sport wheels. Place an order now and enjoy a maximum benefit of 52,000 yuan. The vehicle will be delivered on April 20th. In terms of power, the Askui M7 is equipped with a range-extending power system, featuring a 1.5T range extender with a maximum power output of 112 kilowatts. It is available in two power options: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive, with maximum power outputs of 200 kilowatts and 330 kilowatts respectively. Depending on the power and configuration version, the CLTC pure electric range of this vehicle is 200 to 240 kilometers, and the combined range is 1,240 to 1,300 kilometers.
The starting price of the Askui M5 Ultra is 229,800 yuan. The vehicle now comes in two new paint options: Zero White and Phantom Purple. The new car also offers a version with a blackish exterior. The design remains consistent with the current model. The headlight group has a sharp shape. There is a air duct and a large air intake under the front of the car. It is also equipped with red brake calipers, presenting a good sense of sportiness. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4,785/1,930/1,625 mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. The intelligent driving hardware has been upgraded with 192-line lidar and 4D millimeter-wave radar. Active safety features include AEB (Omnidirectional Anti-Collision) and eAES (Emergency Steering), supporting simultaneous braking and yielding. It also adds comfortable braking and adopts red calipers.
