On October 15th, we learned from the official Wuling brand that their mid-size MPV - Xingguang 730 has officially started pre-sale. Four configurations are available, with a pre-sale price range of 76,800 - 112,800 yuan. As a new model of the Wuling brand, it is based on the original Tianyu architecture platform and is equipped with Lingxi power 3.0, Shenlian battery, and over 50 items of oil-electric compatibility configurations.
Briefly speaking, Xingguang 730 adopts a new design language. It features a large front grille design, with a mesh-like element design inside and blackening treatment. The side lights are narrow and long, complementing the design of the rear. The side door design is side sliding, and the sliding track is hidden under the lower edge of the window. The overall design of the rear is relatively simple, with straight tail lights that echo the design of the front. The vehicle dimensions are 4910/1850/1770mm, with a wheelbase of 2910mm. The color options for this car include Smoke Gray, Silver Frost White, Shimmer Stone Black, and Twilight Mountain Purple for users to choose from.
The interior of Xingguang 730 adopts a simple cabin design, featuring a floating instrument screen and a 12.8-inch floating central screen. It supports vehicle connectivity and has multiple scene modes such as rest, camping, and leaving the vehicle without disengaging the power supply to meet different needs. At the same time, Xingguang 730 adopts a 7-seat layout of "2+2+3", with different adjustment modes for all seats. The front seats can be fully flattened at 180 degrees, allowing for "lying flat" when resting. The second row seats are equipped with dual armrests and can be adjusted at multiple angles.
The third row seats support 4/6 split ratio folding, with the maximum reclination angle of the backrest reaching 127 degrees. There are 4 positions for the ISOFIX child seat interfaces on the second and third rows. The third row seats ingeniously adopt a magic folding design, which can be folded by reclining the seat back and folding the seat cushion twice, achieving a variable trunk volume ranging from 315 to 1202 liters. The color options for this car include walnut brown and warm sand brown dual-tone interior themes.
In terms of powertrains, Xingguang 730 offers three power options: plug-in hybrid, pure electric, and fuel. The plug-in hybrid version uses Lingxi power 3.0, which consists of a 1.5L engine and the fourth-generation 10-in-1 motor, with a fuel consumption of 5.3L/100km, a pure electric range of 125km (CLTC conditions), and a combined range of 1100km (CLTC conditions). The pure electric version has a maximum motor power of 100kW and is equipped with a 60kWh Shenlian battery, with a pure electric range of 500km (CLTC conditions), supporting 2C charging, and a 15-minute recharge providing 200km of range. The fuel version is equipped with a 1.5T engine, with a maximum power of 130kW, paired with a 6-speed manual and CVT transmission.
