Xiaomi Auto's 2026 New Car Revelations: Four New Models Unveiled "Kunlun" Initiates the Range-Extended Era
If one word could define Xiaomi Auto's 2025, "explosion" would undoubtedly be the most fitting. From the market buzz created by its first sedan, the SU7, to the brand height exploration by the SU7 Ultra, and the phenomenon-level order surge triggered by its first SUV, the YU7, Xiaomi Auto has carved out its territory in the fierce market competition with precise combination punches. With an unprecedented speed, Xiaomi Auto has transformed from a "newcomer" to a "leader" in the new energy vehicle sector. The automotive business has become the absolute growth engine, not only making significant revenue contributions but also achieving its first quarterly profit in the third quarter. According to data, Xiaomi Auto delivered over 410,000 vehicles in 2025, surpassing the annual target of 350,000 set at the beginning of the year. The delivery volume in December 2025 exceeded 50,000 units. Since April 3, 2024, Xiaomi Auto has delivered over 500,000 vehicles in total.
Xiaomi Auto's Four New Models in 2026:
New Xiaomi SU7
Recently, the new Xiaomi SU7 officially launched its pre-sale, offering three models named Standard, Pro, and Max, with pre-sale prices ranging from 229,900 to 309,900 yuan. Compared to the current model, the prices have increased by 10,000 to 14,000 yuan, but it's not ruled out that the prices might drop after the official launch. The new model is scheduled to be officially launched in April 2026. The new Xiaomi SU7 has undergone minor exterior upgrades. The grille at the front bumper has been optimized, and a new paint color, Capri Blue, has been added. It also features a new 20-inch wheel design, with the tire width upgraded from 245mm at both the front and rear to 245mm at the front and 265mm at the rear for all models. All models are equipped with front four-piston fixed calipers, and the Max version comes with Brembo calipers and perforated brake discs.
In terms of interior, the vehicle has added a new Dark Night Black interior color, and the steering wheel design has been upgraded, more closely resembling that of the YU7. In the realm of assisted driving, the current entry-level rear-wheel drive long-range smart driving version does not have a lidar and has a relatively low chip computing power. After this upgrade, all models will be equipped with lidar, and all models will be standard with a 700TOPS assisted driving computing power chip. The Xiaomi HAD assisted driving system will also be upgraded. In terms of safety, the number of airbags has been upgraded from 7 to 9. Previously, the highest strength of the armor cage steel-aluminum hybrid body was 2,000MPa. Now, all models are standard with 2,200MPa hot-formed steel door anti-collision beams and "embedded anti-roll bars". In terms of suspension, only the Max model was previously equipped with air suspension + CDC shock absorbers. The Pro and Max models of the new generation will be upgraded to standard with dual-chamber air suspension + CDC shock absorbers.
Xiaomi SU7 L
In addition to the new SU7, another new sedan under Xiaomi Auto may be positioned as the executive version of the SU7, with the code name "MS11-L". It is rumored that it might be named SU7 L. Previously, there were also spy photos leaked, clearly showing that the Xiaomi SU7 L has been lengthened at the rear, and the roof line also shows a more sloping trend. The lengthening of the body size may indicate that the vehicle's positioning will be more executive-oriented, and the rear space and configuration may also be upgraded accordingly. However, due to the camouflage, the final changes in the roof line, rear windows, and trunk shape cannot be clearly seen at present.
Based on the spy photos, it is expected that the entire lengthened space will be given to the rear. The current SU7 is 4,997mm in length and has a wheelbase of 3,000mm. It is estimated that the overall length of the SU7 L may be further extended to around 5.2 meters, and the wheelbase may exceed 3.1 meters. The larger interior space combined with the positioning of executive attributes, the luxurious interior configuration of the vehicle is sure to keep up. Xiaomi YU7 GT

Previously, a vehicle similar to the Xiaomi YU7 was frequently spotted testing at the Nürburgring, covered in a red and gray camouflage wrap, which was also used on the test vehicle of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. Currently, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is equipped with three motors, with a maximum power of 1,548 horsepower. From this perspective, if the YU7 GT is really launched, the power is likely to exceed 1,000 horsepower. Let's boldly imagine, will it use four motors? After all, Xiaomi has indeed been developing a super four-motor system before, equipped with two new self-developed front motors and two V8s rear motors, with a maximum power of 2,054 horsepower.
Xiaomi "Kunlun" Extended-Range SUV
Next is the most anticipated and currently the most mysterious "Kunlun" model. As mentioned earlier, Kunlun may not just be one model but a series, expected to target the family market SUV and adopt an extended-range power system. It is speculated that this series may include 2-3 models, with release times spanning 2026-2027. The new SUV rumored to be the YU9, which is currently under testing, is likely to be released in the second half of 2026 to the end of the year.
If there are three models, the expected price range is likely to cover 250,000-300,000 yuan, 300,000-400,000 yuan, and 400,000-500,000 yuan, possibly positioned as mid-large and large SUVs, offering 5-7 seat layouts. At the same time, it is reported that the Kunlun series models of Xiaomi will also adopt a large battery extended-range solution, expected to be equipped with a battery larger than 70 kWh, with a pure electric range of approximately 400-500 kilometers.
